We are at the start of the second full year for the Grand Strand Astronomers. I realize that year was very challenging in many ways for us as a group. We really appreciate everyone bearing with us as we navigate everything. However, we did have some good virtual meetings and the weather permitted one very good observing night at Hampton Plantation. We also started our first year as part of the Astronomical League.

Looking forward to next year, we have a number of things planned, The regularly scheduled dates for the first half of the year will be having a meeting on the second Thursday of the month and observing near the last Saturday of the month. See our Events link for dates.

We continue working on the web site. Finally, we always want feedback from our members. We are working to make this organization the best it can be and welcome any thoughts or anyone who wants to help. I hope all of you will consider rejoining the GSA in 2022 or if you were not a paid member this year, that you will consider it 2022 in order to support amateur astronomy in the Grand Strand .
